Improved: Q&A permissions for internal users. Previously we always allowed internal authors of a question to edit the assignment and visibility of their own questions.Β However, you told us there are times when this should be restricted - for example when a project manager wants to manage the questions raised by their team of advisors. Now when you remove assignment and visibility permissions from a role this will apply to all questions, including those created by users of that role.
Improved: We have updated the design of the Q&A assignment and visibility columns so it is clear to users when they donβt have these permissions. Previously users would see a permission denied warning when trying to make changes, now they wonβt be able to attempt edits in the first place.
Improved: Q&A default permissions for internal roles. With this update the following two options are now off by default:
- Automatically give this role visibility on all new questions
- Export
We think it makes sense to have these two options as opt-in. Just remember to turn on automatic visibility for any internal roles that need to see all new questions.
Fixed: Occasional flickering of editor content while working on a transaction with multiple browser tabs.
Fixed: An βsβ character was being added to the selection menu for report exports. This rogue element has been banished!
