What Are Email Notifications?
LiveDiligence can send you email alerts when important things happen on your transactions - like Q&A updates, comments, or new publishes. This keeps you informed without having to constantly check for updates.
Setting Up Email Notifications
To set up email notifications:
- Click your user avatar
- Select "Notifications"
From this window, you can configure your global notification preferences, which will be applied automatically to all your transactions.

Types of Notifications
You can choose to be notified about these transaction events:
- Q&A - New questions and answers posted
- Comments - New comments or replies raised on the risk review
- Publishes - New versions of the due diligence issued
- System notifications - Platform updates and announcements
Notification Frequency Options
Choose how often you want to receive notification emails:
- Never - Select this option if you don't want to receive any email notifications
- 15 minutes - Get notifications every 15 minutes when there's new activity
- Hourly - Receive notifications once per hour when there's new activity
- Daily - Select the days and time you want to receive your daily summary email
Transaction-Specific Settings
You can create custom notification rules for individual transactions to tailor notifications to your specific needs. Look for the notifications icon in the transaction sidebar to configure these settings for each transaction.

Managing Your Settings
To view and edit all your notification preferences:
- Click your user avatar
- Select "Notifications"
From this window you can:
- Alter your global notification settings
- Adjust any transaction-specific preferences
- Review all your current notification rules
The combination of global and transaction-specific controls ensures you receive exactly the notifications you want, when you want them.
Common Notification Setups
Only notify me about specific transactions I'm working on:
- Set global notifications to "Never"
- Enable notifications only for transactions you're actively involved with using transaction-specific settings
Send me a daily summary of everything:
- Set global notifications to "Daily"
- Leave transaction-specific settings as default
- Choose your preferred days and time for the daily summary
Troubleshooting
Not receiving notifications?
- Check your spam/junk folder for emails from Notifications@livediligence.com
- Verify your email address is correct in your profile settings
- Confirm your notification frequency isn't set to "Never"
- Make sure you have access to the transactions you're expecting notifications about
Important Notes
Permission-Based: You will only receive notifications about content you already have access to via the LiveDiligence platform
Self-Action Filtering: You won't receive notifications for actions you performed yourself, preventing unnecessary emails
