How can we help? 👋

What can my client see?

Explanation of which features can and cannot be seen by client users

As an advisor you have full control over what your clients can access on LiveDiligence:

  • Transaction access: It might be obvious but individual client users can only access transactions they have been invited to by their advisor. Learn how to invite users to your transaction in the Users and roles article.
  • Due diligence content: Use the ‘publishing’ feature to control exactly what risk review content is delivered to your clients. Learn more in the Publish section of the Quick Start Guide article.
  • Feature access and permissions: Toggle on and off client access to core platform functionality (listed below) to suit transaction specific roles. Take a look at the Users and roles help article to find out more about the role based permissions system.

This is an example of what a client can see in the risk review, with access granted to all platform features available to a client user type.

Advisors can give their clients access to any or all of the following core platform features, on a per transaction basis:

  • Risk review: Clients can see all published versions of the risk review and use the following features:
    • Risk and status filters.
    • Review mark-up - Clients can switch on the “Show changes” toggle to compare any published version of the risk review to another. Select “ONLY CHANGES” to show only the review elements that have changed.
  • Comments: Clients can see all client comments and responses (both in line with the review via the info sidebar and in the collated comments page). Clients are also able to export all client comments and responses. Editor comments for internal advisor communication are not visible to clients.
  • Q&A: Client access to the Q&A (both in line with the review via the info sidebar and in the collated Q&A page) is further controlled at the individual question level by the “Visible To” setting. Clients cannot submit Q&A questions however can submit answers. Clients are not currently able to export the Q&A themselves.

The client home page is the same as that for an advisor, showing only transactions for which the individual client user has access to. Clients cannot create new transactions.

Clients do not currently have access to the following transaction functionality:

  • Dashboard
  • Report, including pdf download
  • Team
  • Permission
  • Transaction settings

Please let us know if you think your clients would benefit from any of these features, or if you have any other suggestions for additional client features.
